Welcome to the home page of Long View Fire Department.
Located in the western Piedmont region of North Carolina, we
provide fire protection services for approximately 6,000 people
in a 6.5 square mile area which includes the Town of Long
View as well as a small portion of non-municipal territory in
Catawba County. Our current ISO rating is 4 in the municipal
district and 9 in the county areas.
The department is staffed by both full time and paid on call
personnel who are committed to providing the citizens of the
community with the highest level of integrity, pride, dedication
and professionalism.

public in the protection of life and property by minimizing the
impact of fire and potential disasters or events that affect the
community and environment.
